Sandy Kalvig

Sandy Kalvig, receptionist, clerical and data entry professional, and filing clerk, has been with Kalvig & Associates since 1999. Sandy values Kalvig & Associates’ dedication to helping customers with tasks that can be confusing and intimidating. She is happy to see clients thankful and pleased when they pick up completed tax returns. Sandy says, “We do our best to set them at ease and let them know we have their best interests in mind when they hire our firm to prepare their taxes. I feel there is a lot of trust between our clients and our staff, which means a great deal to all of us.”

Sandy is a lifelong resident of Blackduck and mother of two. She enjoys Blackduck’s small-town way of life, being close to family and friends, and watching the seasons change in Northern Minnesota. She loves to knit, sew, and quilt, and her frosted cut-out sugar cookies are renowned not only in Blackduck but throughout Northern Minnesota. Sandy’s two daughters have inherited her skills in crafts and in the kitchen. She enjoys spending time with them and watching their talents blossom.

Sandy takes in the beauty of the Northwoods during bicycle rides and the occasional stroll with her husband, Dwight. As a baseball fan, Sandy is loyal to the Minnesota Twins and can often be found cheering on the local baseball team, the Blackduck Drakes.
